Lisa glared at Zarek. Frieghtened? damn right i'm frightened! You just turned four guys into nothing but dust! she exclaimed. And as she spoke she realized she was still backed up against a wall. She needed to get out of here! Lisa glanced up and down the ally looking for an easy way out.

River rolled his eyes and stepped towards her. He wouldn't let her leave yet. He glanced at Zarek, giving him a very pointed look, one that said 'come on man, seal it up...'. Lisa wasn't going to run off scared like she was. She'd tell the first one of her friends she came in contact with about all this then he'd have to kill her and...sigh...
"Lisa, take a minute and breathe..."

Zarek rolled his eyes as he resealed the alley, "Lisa, what you've seen,, you can't tell a soul. People will think you're crazy and try to put you in a mental hospital." He said trying to sound comforting. 'Why in the hell am I worried about her?' He thought to himself. He yawned a little bit, the old dark-hunter rules still not having worn away completely.

Lisa looked from River to Zarek. Tell someone? You think I'm going to tell someone! Damn straight I'm going to tell someone! I'm tell the police! You two killed FOUR MEN! Something has to be done to stop you! she screamed and started to run past River to the end of the alley. But when she got there she couldn't get past. It was like a wall.. An invisible wall! She turned back and looked frightenedly at them both. Let me out of here!

River shook his head. "Lisa I want you to take a deep breath and just calm down." He started walking slowly towards her. "I want to show you the things those men would have done to the woman had we not just killed them." He held his hand out. "I want to show you the things they've done." While River himself couldn't do it, he knew that Zarek could show her through his fingertips. He knew that Lisa would rather be touched by himself than Zarek.

Zarek's eyes glowed softly as he used his powers. He made sure that they were touching before he pushed his powers into River. Through River's touch, Zarek placed images into Lisa mind.
Visions of daimons flooded into her mind. Zarek showed her daimons feeding off of pregnant teens, and newborn babies. He showed her the many woman beaten and battered by the daimons. Zarek gritted his teeth as he showed her how the daimons would pass time with some of the girls.
Zarek pulled his powers away, feeling the visions begin to creep into River's mind as well. "Sorry River." He growled as he walked to the edge of the light. He sighed as he tried to calm himself down. He glared at the wall with the full strength of his hatred for the daimons and the things that they have done.

After a moment Lisa pulled away from River again. Not quite understanding what he'd just done. But she had seen the visions. I want to go home. she whispered weakly. Almost like she was trying to convince herself of just that. She looked to River, her eyes showing fear and confusion. She wanted so bad to crawl into bed and pretend this had all been a dream! The night had started out bad... then she'd met River and she had started to relax and enjoy herself... then all this....

River sighed and looked back at Zarek a moment, understand the pain and confusion that Lisa must be feeling. When River was first made a squire, he had felt that too. He looked back to her and sighed again, running his fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry about having to show you that, but you needed to know so that you wouldn't go to the police." He bit his lip and looke dup at her. "You aren't going to go to the police are you?"

Zarek sighed as he watched the scene play out in front of him. "Lisa, if you tell the cops, there will be people after you that will scare the shit out of you." He looked deep into her eyes. His blue eyes bore into her as he slowly walked towards River and Lisa. 'Why do mortals always have to be so damn complicated?' He thought as stopped a few feet away, "Do you understand little girl?" Zarek said with a slight growl to his voice.

Lisa's breathing faultered, she swore her heart skipped a few beats. Her eyes were wide. She swallowed hard and stepped back a bit, only to hit the invisible wall holding her in the alley. She glanced to River and back to Zarek... and nodded slowly... stiffly.

River sighed a little. Damn Zarek for scaring her. He couldn't really talk to anyone without scaring the crap out of them. He looked over his shoulder and sneered at Zarek before turning back to Lisa. "Sorry about Zarek but he's right. The wrong kind of people would be looking after you."
He bit his lip and considered for a moment. "I guess if you want to go home you need to go home..." He sighed a little. "Unless there's somewhere else you want to go?"

Zarek sighed as he watched River and his mushiness. 'This almost makes me sick.' He thought as he pushed his fingers through his hair and leaned back against the wall. He chewed his lip as he felt the rough bite of the bricks against his skin. "Is there any way we can speed this shit up? I've got things to do." Zarek glanced at the couple, and huffed a little.

Lisa swallowed hard and nodded. I.. I should go home. she said absently. Like she wasn't really aware of what she was saying. She felt numb. This was all so unreal. She was still backed up against the invisible barrier blocking the exit back to the streets. She didn't hear Zarek's bickering. She could barely hear her own thought sover the blood pumping though her system and the pounding in her temples.

River sighed and nodded, looking over his shoulder to Zarek. "Thanks for helping me with them Zarek." He shook his head with a little chuckle. "I'm never gonna hear the end of this from Otto." He nodded again before turning back to Lisa, assuming that Zarek would leave and lift the barrier. "Ok Lisa, I'll walk you home to make sure nothing happens to you."
