Lisa sucked in her breath as she drew nearer the group. She purposely walked closer to them.. they weren't looking her way so she inched closer as she walked til she got so close she brushed against one of the men.. Oh I'm so sorry, silly me wasn't watching where i was going. she said in an innocent voice and flashed as charming a smile as she could before slowly walking away, letting her hips sway and she glanced back towards them as she headed slowly towards the door Zarek had went out of.

River nodded his head as he watched the daimons turn to follow their new course. He almost sighed in relief but stopped himself with the thought that Otto would kill him for allowing a human to walk past a group of for Daimons. Especially one like this. He could almost see her could almost see her soul pulsing!
He followed closely behind, watching as Lisa slipped out the door, the Daimons on her heels. He knew Zarek would be waiting and he hoped he would be logical and take two, making it even with River also having two. River knew he could take out his two, he had both Sai on him tonight, he always did when he went to see Otto because who knew when that man would want to train. He also had 'the butterfly' pressed close to his leg in his right pocket. Zarek had his claws. This would be an easy job. He would get scolded later for not calling a Dark Hunter but hey...desperate situations and all...

Zarek blinked as the boor opened again, 'Better not be another trash boy.' He thought to himself as he waited. He smiled mischievously as he saw Lisa walk out and the daimons following. 'Finally.' He thought to himself as he slipped out of the shadows and cornered the daimons. "You guys are even more ugly every time I see you." He smiled and launched himself at the first daimon shoving Lisa safely out of the way. He growled and slashed the surprised daimon across his chest. He smiled as he landed behind the daimon. The daimon blinked as he turned into golden powder.
Zephyr stared in shock as he watched his best friend turn into dust, "You son of a bitch!" He roared as he charged at Zarek. The other two daimons made a face as they heard the door close behind them and turned around. Shocked to see another man behind them. "What the hell?" They asked simultaneously seeing River.
Zarek grunted as he felt a blade sink into his back, "You piece of shit!" He growled as he turned around, his eyes blazing bright blue flames. He snarled and flung the daimon against the wall. "I'll kill you slowly and painfully you slimy shit sack." He threatened as he slowly advanced towards Zephyr.

River smiled wickedly after noting that Lisa was out of the way. He thought to Zarek, because he knew he could hear him with his god powers, 'Use some of that magic and seal this alley...'
He brought his hands up from behind his back, the two sai twirling in his hands effortlessly. They weren't a common weapon, being a weapon of the orient. He advanced on the daimons. They snarled at him, falling into a fighting crouch. One, the taller, chuckled darkly. "Oh you're just a little squire." He straightened and laughed whole heartedly. His friend straightened as well. "You shall be easy little one."
River snarled, and the daimons stopped laughing when the taller was sliced across the right eye with one of River's sais. He checked quickly to make sure that Zarek fared well, which he was, and then went immediately to attack, his sais working at a blurring pace, the daimons working equally as quickly to keep up and defend themselves.

Zarek rolled his eyes and sealed off the alley with a bit of god power. He leapt at Zephyr, slashing his claws along his face. He broke off a piece of old pipe and pinned the daimon to the wall, "Now comes the fun. Are you ready to feel the bite of the devil?" Zarek asked the pinned daimon.
Zephyr gasped in pain and snarled, "I'll kill you." He growled in a last effort to scare the being before him of.
Zarek laughed, "You? Kill me?" Zarek laughed some more before burying his claws deep in the daimons stomach, "Love to see you try." He snarled in his face. Zarek slowly ran his claws along the length of the stomach, slowly disemboweling the daimon. Safe in the knowlegde that the daimon wouldn't die yet he pulled back to check on River.

River fought furiously, not caring what Lisa saw at this moment. He slashed the daimons across their faces and necks, reveling in the pained sounds they made and the blood that flew from his blades. The taller of the daimons lunged at him, catching him across the top of the arm with a small pocket knife.
River hissed, looking down at the wound briefly before swiping the daimon across the chest with one sai and coming in close behind with the other, stabbing into the daimons inkspot. He smiled victoriously and jerked the blades out, watching the stunned look on the daimons face as he burst into dust. Why do they always look so stunned? River thought as he spun on the other daimon who was now fighter with even more abandon. It's not as though they don't know what happens when they die...
[ooc: River is having too much fun with this killing business...me thinks there might be trouble later when he finds out about Kitty.... potential baddie in the mix maybe?]

Zarek chuckled a dark chuckle and turned back to Zephyr, he reached into the cavity of the stomach and began to pull out a long rope of intestine. "Did you know that there is an ancient practice of telling the future through one's entrails?" He asked as he stole a quick glance to Zephyr. "Bet you didn't know I was a practitioner." He said with a dark smile as he slit open the intestine and looked inside, "I would say that you'll have a long happy life according to this right here." He said pointing to a spot in the gore. He shrugged as he looked back up to Zephyr, "What do you think? He asked.
"That you'll let me live?" The daimon asked through the pain.
Zarek laughed,"Maybe I should." He shrugged and began to turn away, "But I never said I was a great reader." He said with a snarl as he spun and planted his claws into the inkspot on his chest. Zarek laughed at the look of surprise on his face. "Don't look so shocked, makes you look like a sex doll." he said as he turned and walked towards River.

River chuckled as he caught the last part of the comment Zarek made. He had to agree though, they did look like sex dolls when they made that face. River had blood on his face, he knew, because every now and then when he made a brutal cut, he would get a little blood splattered at him.
The daimon was starting to bore him and the first break he saw in the daimons defense, he took it and slammed his sai home into the black spot, ripping it down and out the stomach before the daimon burst apart. He turned to Zarek. "Good fight." He nodded. Remembering that Lisa was there he turned towards her.

Zarek nodded and chuckled, as he removed his claws and stuffed them into his pocket again. He sighed and unsealed the alley and used just a little more magic to clean them both up. "Not bad your self frenchy." Zarek said as he walked back towards the door to check that no one was coming to investigate the commotion.
Feeling confidant that no one was, he leaned against the door and stretched his hands behind his head, "Is she ok?" He thought to ask as he relaxed far enough away for privacy, yet still close enough to intercept in case anything got too out of hand.

Lisa had stubled to the other wall of the alley, across form Tipitina's... she tried to stay as close to teh walll as possible as she watched in horror the events in teh alley. When River turned to her she couldn't breath. Was he going to turn her to dust now? And how had they turned those men to dust? Wake up Lisa... it's just a nightmare.. she whispered breathlessly to herself when RIver moved closer. She shut her eyes tightly, willing herself to wake up!

River sighed and shook his head, moving a step back. "You're not dreaming Lisa, it's just..." He sighed again and turned to Zarek, wondering what he should do. He knew he wasn't allowed to tell her, but he also knew that if he didn't then she would go running off telling someone. He was hoping that Zarek would take over and at least try to explain it a little bit before he handed it over to River to continue.
She would understand a little, if she was given the standard 'vampire hunter' excuse. She was used to hanging around with Grace and Selena. And whenever you were around Selena for extended time, you were bound to run into Tabitha the real 'vampire hunter'. She might understand enough to know about secrecy...

Zarek smiled at Lisa, "Sorry for not telling you, but I'm a vampire hunter. River helps me out sometimes." He said with a slight smile. He stretched again and walked over to them. "We won't harm you, so it's ok." He shrugged, "Besides, they would've hurt you before we would." He said with nonchalance. Zarek sighed and looked at his nails and wrinkled his nose. "I've got 'vampire' shit under my nails." He mumbled as he pulled a knife from his boot and began cleaning his nails.

Lisa eyed the two of them very carefully, looking from River to Zarek and back again. Vampire hunters... really? you expect me to believe those were vampires? her words started becoming higher pitched and more of a screeching terrified sound then anything else. Lisa remembered Tabitha, but really, that girl was nuts! none of it was actually real! was it? how else does one explain people turning to dust?!

River tilted his head. "Yes, we really do expect you to believe they were vampires." He shrugged, at a loss for what to say or do next. He had never considered the thought of having to tell a human about any of this and River personally had never had to use the vampire hunter lie. It made him feel a little strange, honestly, because he's never really lied about his profession before.
[ooc: I hate beating a dead horse but Zarek is right. Spelling and Capitalization. Xander is going to add it to the rules so before he does you gotta work on it so you don't get a warning. Just things like overall good spelling, like not spelling a lot of words wrong, but humans make mistakes, and not going half a post without capitalizing anything.]

Zarek flinched at her screech "Women," He muttered, "Can be very annoying when they screech like that." He sighed and looked at Lisa, "It's up to you if you want to believe us. We can't tell you what to believe. But please, don't screech again. You sound like a frightened mouse." He said with a slight grimace of pain. He started walking towards River, attempting to make sure he wasn't harmed. He wore a hint of pain in his eyes as he walked.
"You ok River?" He asked seeing all the blood on him.
