Lisa, despite herself, blushed deeply at his ensuing words and the once over he gave her. Well..[/b] She bit her lip as she glanced all around, debating... she really didn't want to go to an emptyhouse... least not yet... She smiled crooked;y up at him and shrugged, giving in to her curiosity. If you really don't mind, and you won't get in trouble at work... she conceded

River rolled her eyes and lifted his phone to his ear, having already hit the number. He walked a little away, smiling into the receiver. He waited until he heard Otto speak. "What?" His voice was dark and annoyed but what was new for Otto. River sighed. "I can't come in tonight...I-" Otto huffed. "It's a woman isn't it?" He sounded slightly more annoyed than ever. "Yes..." River mumbled. "River...." He sighed darkly. "Just go...it's fine..." River smiled. This made him happy. Off work, date with a pretty woman... "Otto...Th-" He hung up.
River looked down at his phone. "Wow. Fine." He turned around to Lisa. "Ok."

She bit her lip and smiled shyly up at him. Ok... so.. now what? she asked she hadn't been on a date in so long... if you could call this impromptu thing a date. she suddenly felt a little giddy on the inside. But she wasn't sure why....

River rolled his eyes and threw his arms in the air, letting them drop and dropping his head back. "What's wrong with you?!" He paced in a circle. "What do we do now..." He mumbled to himself. He turned back to her, whipping his glasses off his face and slamming them back into his pocket. "Mon cher, I do believe I said the night was young and yours..." He rose his eyebrows in emphasis.

Lisa giggled a bit and patted her hands in the air in front of her. Ok ok... just calm down before you go making a scene of things. It's been awhile since i've done somthing like this... she said then glanced about trying to think. she smiled to herself as she turned back to him.
Okay... let's go to Tipitina's... I haven't been there in forever. she said smiling

River nodded and smiled. "Afraid of making a scene?" He shook her head and turned around, getting back to the directions Tip's was in. "I ain't afraid of making no scene."

Lisa giggled lightly as she fell into step beside him, her black heels clicking lightly on the hard sidewalk. I'll take your word for it... but please don't make a scene. she begged him

River looked down at her as they walked and rolled his eyes. "Why not, Lisa, can't we have fun and dance and drink and be spontaneous?" He laughed and hopped a little while he walked. "Haven't you ever cut loose?"

Lisa laughed a bit.. Yes.. that;s what got me married and dropped out of college. she said to him. I haven't letloose since... it only leads to trouble in the end. she said repeating the litany she'd tol dherself so many times in the last few years. she watched him skip/walk and smiled sweetly at him.. he was so... bouncy!
