Nick stepped into Runningwolf's, raptors glinting with reflected light. He looked around, smirking. This place wasn't as good as Sanctuary, but it would have to do. Nick had been closest to Runningwolf's and he wanted a drink now. After all he'd been through tonight he deserved one. He had been minding his own business, walking down the street with his headphones blaring, when some random daimon came at him. He had dispatched it quickly but still, it was the third time it had happened. Either Stryker was up to something or the daimons were out of control. Nick voted for Stryker.
He strode over to the bar, scattering everyone before him. Maybe it was the dark smirk or maybe it was the leather pants and jacket, either way, people steered clear. He sat at one of the bar stools, glaring at the bartender till he came over.
"You want a drink?" He asked. Nick sneered. "No, bete, I'm sitting here looking at the beer contemplating the ingredients and how unhealthy it is..." The bartender rose and eyebrow and looked over his shoulder, reaching back and grabbing a beer, then handing it to Nick. "Sorry..." He mumbled as he moved away.
Not one of your best Nick... he thought as he watched the man walk away, taking a long draft of the beer. Whatever though, it had been a long night.

Alison walked into the club tentively, she glanced around, acnning the crowd then making her way to the front.. to the bar. Her husband was out late again. She'd left the girls at the neighbor's and was now out trying to find him. Oh come on... where the hell are you this time? she muttered to herself, barely able to hear herself over the crowd... Ali didn't notice the man with the dark eyes sitting next to her

Nick noticed her though. He had heard her whispered words seeing as how she was sitting right next to him. He turned to look at her, holding the beer in one hand and resting the other on his knee as he looked at her. He didn't particularly care about her, he didn't even know her so why should he care, but at least he could get her away from him. This was always the problem with going out in public, the people just pissed him off so much.
Nick cleared his throat semi-loudly. "Who you lookin' for?" He asked in a soft, almost monotonous tone. An edge of buried anger, Nick was an angry person, was floating at the corners of his voice, but he doubted if she could hear that.

Alison looked over to the man when he spoke. My.. my husband. He comes here alot. At least... this is where he says he goes. she said as she started scanning teh crowd again, her voice was a bit weak... as if there were unspoken doubts all about her.

Nick nodded, giving her his usual uncaring stare through his glasses. Of course, she couldn't see the look, but he gave it none the less. He turned a little more towards her, the double bow on his right cheek a little more visible.
Nick took another drink then leaned forward. "What does he look like, bete, I can't help you if yeh don't tell me..."

She looked at him a moment before forcing herself to think. He's uh, got sandy brown hair. About the length of mine. she said reaching a hand up to nervously run through her short page cut blonde hair. And he's six feet tall, kinda tanned. she said biting her lip. She saw the bow and arrow mark on the man's cheek. It didn't look like a tattoo. A brand maybe? For what?

Nick nodded and scanned the crowd quickly, noting all the men that fit that physical description. He turned back to her, stretching just a bit before he told her what he had seen. "There a a few men in close proximity of us with that description." He nodded in their directions as he told her where they were. "One is dancing a bit to the left of us by himself, looking like an idiot. One is leaning against the wall near the bathroom." He glanced at the other one. "One is sitting in a booth over there with two women, one resting very comfortably in his lap."

Alison took note of the men. But when her eyes rested on the third she nearly screamed. She looked to the man next to her. That's him, thank you. she said then started making her way to the booth her husband was in with the women.
Joe. she said when she came up to the table. I knew it. I knew you weren't out with the guys. You don't have any friends! You just have.. she looked the women over. Whores! she spat at them all. I came to find you because your youngest daughter is sick! And I find you out chesting on me!? Joseph slowly slid the woman off his lap and stood up, grabbing Alison by the arm and pulling her roughly to the door.

Nick watched in vague amusement as the woman made a spectacle of herself. He wasn't interested in helping when the guy took her by the arm but the deeper part of him, the part that used to be there before everything went wrong, reared it's head. There was that old instinct to protect the women around him. Nick looked longingly at his beer, and sighed heavily. He could come back for another. He finished the drink and stood, having already paid for the drink, and walked after them, once again parting the crowd.
Good gumdrops you get to play hero Nick... He thought to himself. Like it mattered... He came up behind the guy and moved in front of him, stopping him in his tracks. "You got a problem chew?"

Joseph glared at the man and jerked Ali closer to him and walked around the man to the door. Stay out of this. he said angrily and pushed the door open shoving her out into the parking lot. He shut the door behind him, he turned on his wife. What the hell is your problem? i told you to stay home! he yelled angrily at her.
I'm Sorry Joe. But Marie is sick. I needed you home and you won't answer your cell. she tried to explain. She'd done it again. Made him mad! God! She was so stupid. She should have just stayed home like he'd said to.
Joe growled at her and shoved her into a nearby car, setting off the alarm.

Nick huffed. He hated it when people didn't do as he told them. He stalked out the door, the pissed off look he had perfected so well slipping over his features. He went straight to the man and woman, car alarm blaring. Nick reached out and took the guy by the shirt collar, tossing him to the side like a rag doll. He smiled in satisfaction as he hit the ground with a hard thud.
Nick moved in front of the woman, looking over his shoulder. "Just sit still, k? Be best if you don't try to get out from behind me or interfere..."

Alison was too stunned to do anything more than nod her head weakly. Her eyes were wide. She'd pay for this later, she knew. She just hoped the girls wouldn't have to hear it.
Joe groaned when he hit the ground... he stumbled back to his feet and dusted himself abit. This is my favorite shirt. And look.. he said grabbing the bottom of it. You ripped it.... Now that's not very nice. he said and started forward, quickly punching out, aiming for the guy's gut.

Nick turned lightening fast and caught the guys hand, squeezing tightly. Nick looked down at him, glaring. He reached up with his other hand and pulled his Raptors down his nose. "Don't even think you have a chance." The flames deep in his silver eyes, the hate and anger Nick kept as his ally, burned into the other man's eyes. "If you were smart you would turn and leave right now before I have to hurt very very badly."
For once there was no sarcasm in his voice. This was the fourth attack tonight, Daimon or not, and Nick was not in the mood.

Joe looked wide eyed at the man. But he soon shoved the shock away. Look buddy, stay out of this. It's none of your business so I think you should be th eone to leave.
Alison bit her lip hard and closed her eyes, turning her head away. She coul dhear the seriousness in the man's voice, and she knew he was going to hurt Joe for what he'd just said.

Nick sneered and took the raptors from his face, tucking them inside his leather jacket. He took the jacket off, black wife beater showing his muscular arms. He tossed the jacket to the side. All this was done fairly quickly. Nick glared at him, silver eyes glinting.
His hand was in then out of his pocket in seconds. Nick pressed the button on the switchblade, classic weapon for any street punk, and held the blade loosely in his hand. "I don't feel like fighting right now but I will if I have to." He flicked the blade to indicate up and down the man. "Back off and go anywhere but here and home, chew, because if you make a move on me you'll lose something valuable."
Nick rose an eyebrow. The switch was really for intimidation. If he was going to fight, then he would do it with his bare hands. He was so pissed right now he could rip this guy apart with his bare hands.
